Information on Appeal
Thanks to arubagirl for the following information
The appeal on behalf of Joran will appear on July 12th 9.30 before the Joint Court of Appeals. (It’s not a given that the decision will be made immediately.)
A completely new judge will be sworn in and sent immediately to Aruba to deal with the case. (Of course, now there is going to be criticism that we are using inexperienced judges. Never mind that when experienced judges are used, it’s implied that buddy politics is at work. We really can’t win either way, right? I’m just starting to realize that.)
The carnival has been canceled again.
