Boycott Aruba?
Scared Monkeys has a document of Jug Twitty’s (Natalee’s Step Father) appeal to the Governor NOT TO boycott Aruba.
To the contrary I think a boycott should be put into place if the Aruban government doesn’t give any indication that they are doing anything. For the past two months I thought calling for a boycott is not the right thing to do in an on going investigation. However the only folks doing anything in the search for Natalee are Americans (Equu Search). The Aruban government is just playing politics by giving out statements such as “we are doing everything possible”. We have learned that the government, along with the police are completely incompetent. As an American I am used to investigations being completed bing-bang-boom, but I have lost my patience in this situation. We have given the Arubans over 80 days and complete control. It is time for control of the investigation to be handed over to the FBI and the threat of a boycott to be called.

I know it is run different over there, however when they have “body language investigators” over there, I think we can make a clear conclusion that the police don’t know what they’re doing.

Nope. The post was by Ian. Ian is a blogger (author) with this and another blog at http://thepoliticalteen.net. He clarified that he did in fact mean “inconfident” (sic) in his August 12, 2005 @ 1:48 am post above. Since Ian is a blog author, his authorship and writing skills could be assumed to be beyond reproach. By the way, “inconfident” is not a word.
Melissa and Susan Smith write well, don’t they? They seem to be speaking from an analysis of facts versus hype. Halleluiah.

Ian, you confirmed earlier that you meant “confident.” You said so with a sarcast9ic comment that I should look up the word “confidence”. Consequently, I was not picking on your spelling. I also did address your argument, which is lame for not being based on facts.
So now we see that you think that they are “incompetent.” How do you know that? Again, another lame opinion based not on fact.
In another post you have now made you say think that there is a cover-up. In this case, since you have no facts, you have qualified it as an opinion that should be taken with a grain of salt. Will do.
So, which is it Ian? Incompetence or cover up? I’d say those scenarios are mutually exclusive. In my opinion, it would take some damned incredible competence to cover up a crime that is this much in the public’s perview.

PATRIOT-in reference to your comment “AS far as it goes for others not being talked about as much, it’s evident to see that the marjority of them haven’t gone about it the same way Natalee’s family has” I will say this:I personally have helped in the search for Tracey Gardner-Tetso and all her freinds and family are doing all that they can do. You DONT know what people are doing and arent doing in the other searches unless you are there. Also when the help from the police department is not all that good, you are left in circles. Tracey’s story HAS been bumped due to the Kalpoe’s court dates, etc. So, no, I agree with Althor in this and that as much as I feel for Natalee’s family, and have the understanding due to the fact that I am a parent also, I have to say enough is enough with the publicity. At least let other missing people get some air time in so maybe they can be found. THere are so many people out there that go missing and you hear about them, but then they die off b/c of cases like this and the “runaway bride”.
