Mother of missing Alabama teen meeting with lawyer on options

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — With help from a local businessman, the mother of an Alabama teen who disappeared on a class trip to Aruba planned to meet with an attorney here to discuss her options in the stalled investigation.
Beth Holloway Twitty, mother of Natalee Holloway, told the Philadelphia Daily News for Wednesday’s editions that “we just feel like if we just continue, that something will break.”
On her meeting with an attorney, she said, “I want to see what my options are, and how do I go about pursuing those.”
Holloway, 18, hasn’t been seen since May 30, the night before she and other students from her Alabama high school were to return home from a senior week trip to Aruba. She was last seen leaving a bar with two Surinamese brothers, Deepak and Satish Kalpoe, and Dutch teen Joran van der Sloot.

Beth Twitty Reacts to Joran on ACA (VIDEO)
On A Current Affair Beth Twitty was shown the full interview with Joran van der Sloot. Beth pointed out all the lies and misconceptions in Joran’s statements. Twitty also explained that the FBI was NEVER involved in the investigation because the Aruban government wouldn’t allow it.

CBS – Reacting to an interview van der Sloot gave to the magazine show “A Current Affair,” Twitty cast van der Sloot as coming out with one lie after another.
She also repeated her contention that her daughter was sexually assaulted by van der Sloot.
[***] Twitty says she’s going to Holland “to make sure that everyone realizes and still knows that the reward money is still out there. We have $1 million for a safe return, $250,000 for the whereabouts of Natalee. And we’ve had posters printed in Dutch that we will be distributing in Amsterdam.”

Beth Twitty appeared on Greta last night to discuss the interview with Joran van der Sloot. Both Greta and Beth were upset that the Aruban authorities aren’t doing anything over Joran’s lie.

A Current Affair: Joran van der Sloot (VIDEO)
The O’Reilly Factor plays a 5 minute portion of the Current Affair interview with Joran van der Sloot that is supposed to air tomorrow. Joran is questioned if he had sex with Natalee and told the reporter “that is none of your business” and then said he did not a few moments later. This is contrary to what Deepak Kalpoe said.

A Current Affair caught up with Joran van der Sloot in the Netherlands to talk about the night Natalee disappeared. Joran said he lied about the last place he saw her. He admitted the last time they were with each other was on an Aruban beach. Natalee’s mother, Beth Twitty appeared on the show to dispute what Joran had to say.

The anchors on FOX & Friends speak about Joran admited he left Natalee on the beach.
