BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Beth Twitty responded to controversial tapes that some claim are deliberately misleading about Natalee Holloway’s disappearance.

A taped conversation between private investigator Jamie Skeeters and suspect Deepak Kalpoe is the latest development in the Holloway case. Skeeters claims Kalpoe made an admission, while Aruban investigators claim the tapes were doctored.
