Cabdriver’s Tip Led to Arrest of Holloway Potential Suspect
April 24, 2006 — – Geoffrey van Cromvoirt, 19, has been released into the custody of his parents after spending more than a week in an Aruba jail on suspicion of “criminal offenses that may be related to the disappearance” of Natalee Holloway.
ABC News has learned that van Cromvoirt’s April 15 arrest occurred after police identified him as someone who may have had physical relations with the Alabama teen while she was on vacation in Aruba.
Police followed a trail of evidence that began with a cabdriver, who wants to remain anonymous. The cabdriver told police she drove an intoxicated Holloway and her friends one night and heard Holloway talking about being in love with a “Dutch boy.”

Dave Holloway Book Signing – Books-A-Million – Birmingham, AL

Today I had the honor and the priviledge to attend a book signing by Dave Holloway.
It was held at Books-A-Million at Brookwood Mall in Birmingham, Alabama.
Dave took questions from those attending and then signed everyone’s book.
Dave’s wife, Robin, was also there, as were their two daughters (precious) and Dave’s son Matt.
I also had the priviledge of meeting a few BFN members who also attended the book signing.
I had Dave sign the front cover of my book, he also wrote a special (personal) note on the inside cover.
It is very humbling to get to know this family, they are very gracious, even as they face the tragedy that they are going through with Natalee’s disappearance and the “strange” investigation.
Dave & Robin… Thank You! You are family to me and I will always be here for you.

A reliable source has informed Blogs for Natalee that Micheal Dompig, the son of the recently ousted police Chief, Gerald Dompig, will be arrested sometime today.
