ORANJESTAD, Aruba (FOX6WBRC MyFoxAL.com)—A house inspection was conducted on Saturday morning at the residence of Deepak Kalpoe, 21, and his 18-year-old brother Satish in connection to the disappearance case of Natalee Holloway according to a press release from Fox news. The Kalpoe brothers are former suspects in the case. They were jailed and later released after a judge ruled there was not enough evidence to hold them.
The alleged search took place inside the residence and was conducted by the prosecutor and team of investigators assigned to the case. Authorities did not release any details on the search.
This new development comes two weeks after Dutch investigators spent two days searching the yard of Joran Van der Sloot, another one time suspect in the case. A spokeswoman for the prosecutor’s office told reporters gathered outside the Van der Sloot home that the investigation has never stopped. ‘Dutch authorities are completely reviewing the case for new indications,’ said Vivian van der Biezen.
Holloway, an 18-year-old from Mountain Brook, Alabama, vanished in the early hours of May 30, 2005, the last day of a five-day vacation to celebrate her high school graduation with 124 other students.
